Lake Shore UMC Welcome to the website for Lake Shore United Methodist Church in Waco, Texas.

We are a very active church and are committed to following our mission statement:
"To Proclaim God's Love to All (In Word and In Deed)."
Lake Shore lives out this commitment through:
  • Supporting a variety of local mission organizations through hands-on activities: Mission Waco's school supply drive and devotional services at My Brother's Keeper shelter for the homeless; Storybook Christmas and many more activities
  • Partnership with Lake Waco Montessori Elementary School
  • Support United Methodist Missions in all areas and through United Methodist Women's activities
  • Care Partners for our local firemen
  • Family night activities
  • Short-term Bible studies
  • Enjoying each other in fellowship through activities such as covered dish luncheons, ice cream socials, talent shows, breakfast fellowships and special luncheons to honor our senior citizens
  • Meaningful worship experiences which include a variety of music and lay participation in all areas
